And really, I’m hopeful for the new paywall the New York Times is trying, because the job they do is a valuable one, and they not only deserve to be compensated but really have to be: too many of us rely on what they do for them to disappear. But it didn’t have to come to this, because advertising isn’t broken—it’s just your advertising that’s broken.
